8 Months After, Britney Spears And Sam Asghari Finalize Divorce: See Details
It appears that the Universe wants to grant Britney Spears a fresh start as she finalizes divorce with her third husband, Sam Asghari 8 months after the actor filed the divorce. Now, she can truly start afresh for the future perhaps even get married again.
The former couple got married in June 2022 and separated in August w2023. Same August, the actor filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences,” against his former allegation of cheating. He even wanted the conditions of their prenup to be amended.
Unfortunately, Sam Asghari is in for a rude shock as her legal team who played a crucial role in her conservatorship case against her father ensured that the prenup remained as it is in recent findings of the divorce case. Both couples fully adhered to the terms of the prenup.
This is not Britney Spears’s first divorce. She divorced Ason Alexander in 2004 after only being married for 55 hours and then the father of her two sons, Kevin Federline. She and her second husband tied the knot in October 2004 and separated in July 2007.
Details from the Sam Asghari divorce showed that the singer will keep her properties and money gotten before, during and after the divorce as against the actor’s request for spousal support. Page Six reports that the divorce was settled “amicably”. This is due to the unamended prenup.

The latest development comes barely a week after the singer finalized the conservatorship case with her father and his partners. Under the conservatorship, the star was not allowed to decide her finances and career until it was terminated in 2021. She was then granted access to her life.
Her Lawyer told Page Six that “Britney Spears won when the court suspended her father, and Britney Spears won when her fundamental rights and civil liberties were restored.” Since then she has written a New York bestselling memoir and released two singles. One of the singles, “Hold Me Closer” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and became her 24th Top 10 single.
