Social Media User Blast Iyabo Ojo Over Trending Video Welcoming Her Daughter’s Boyfriend
Nigerian social media user has something to say on iyabo Ojo’s trending video which went viral on Sunday. The Nollywood actress was seen welcoming her daughter Priscilla Ojo’s Tanzanian boyfriend Juma jux to her home.
The model who teased her boyfriend in July after a romantic gateway has brought him home to officially meet her mother. And the actress threw a welcoming dance in her home as he stepped inside the house. But some social media users disagreed.
In the trending video, Iyabo ojo and her daughter could be seen dancing while a mystery woman sprayed wrapper on the floor. Juma jux would drop some money on it before coming inside. Iyabo would later support her mother and kiss her boyfriend.
But one social media user blasted the mother-and-daughter duo on X formerly Twitter writing, “You can never underestimate the importance of a father in the life of any child. Never!.” unfortunately for him, Nigerians were not having it.
They sided with Iyabo Ojo’s action in the trending video with some taking to the comments section to support the actress. One wrote,”So Otedola that knows his daughters boyfriend and welcomes him every time nko.? The 7,424 daughters boyfriend even attends family events. People will just be doing too much.”
Another write, “The girl we are talking about here is an adult o, 23years old o. Some of you ranting here your mum had you at 16.” A third added, She’s in love with him, he likes her too and her family supports her, no one cares about your opinion.”
Several other comments on the trending video were equally supportive of Iyabo Ojo and her mother. “What will be the Father’s role in this scenario? , To do Father Christmas? or the Joker,” a user mocked the social media user.
