Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Davido took to his Instagram story to share loved-up images of himself and his wife, Chioma Adeleke following the loss of all his three nominations at the 66th Grammys on Sunday.
The singer first lost the Best Global Music Performance to ‘Pashto’ by Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer and Zakir Hussain. He also lost the Best Global Music Album award to Shakti’s ‘This Moment.’

South African singer, Tyla who made waves with her song “Water” won the inaugural Best African Music Performance award ahead of Davido and other Nigerian nominees. The loss of the three awards threw his fan club 30bg, Nigerians and several critics into a quandary.
Many were particularly mocking the Aye Crooner who chose to be mature and congratulated the 22-year-old Tyla. The singer also took to X formerly Twitter to say that he “wants to feel alright.” And ended up with “l love each and every one of you!!, we will continue to deliver.
The latest images come after his logistics manager, Israel DMW reminded those mocking his boss that the Grammy is not always awarded based on merit. He stated that the Grammy organisers used Davido for publicity.

In an Instagram story post, he wrote: “You’re completely mocking yourself, if you think you’re mocking my Oga, in an already well-programmed event, where oga’s name had to even been used as publicity.
“Look at your life in the next 20 years, if you’ will be will be better than Oga, in any way. Look at the life of some past awardees, if they ever merited it.”
