Johnny Depp appears to have changed career as fans are yet to warm up to him following his famous court battle with his ex-wife, Amber Heard. This belief stems from the fact that his French-language independent film titled Jeanne du Barry, did not receive the attention it ought to have considering he was exonerated.
Recall that the actor was cancelled after his ex-wife alleged that he was physically abusive. Even his latest project received no love as not many moviegoers went to the cinema to watch the movie that marked his return to the US theatres. The movie was also in the news for some sort of controversy.
Now it appears that Johnny Depp is now pursuing a career as an artist while on a visit in London. Per Page Six, the actor has been living in London for the past six months and is pursuing a career in art. Daily Mail also confirmed that he has been painting a lot in London.
The actor has continuously painted but only went public in 2022 after he debuted a collection of prints through Britain’s Castle Fine Art galleries. Hours later, all 780 prints promoted via Instagram post had sold out with him becoming $3.6 million richer.
The post saw Johnny Depp sitted on a bench in front of the collection’s four pieces which are portraits of Bob Dylan, Al Pacino, the late Elizabeth Taylor and Keith Richards. He told Castle Fine Arts what Art meant to him.
