Beyonce has proven times without count that she is not only a performer but an entrepreneur power. Her latest addition CECRED is proof that the star is every inch a successful woman.
This time, the new deal is a new haircare line. The star announced on Tuesday that she will be launching her new line, CÉCRED, on February 20. Also, she shared a video clip from a projector set up against a screen that showed glimpses from her mom Tina Knowle’s, 70, Headliners salon in Houston, Texas, which she opened back in 1990.
The video also showed glimpses of Beyonce and other ladies getting their hair done. Then captioned the video, ‘Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20,’ the star wrote in the caption. She also added a link to CECRED.COM, which asks fans for their email so they can receive updates on the line.

Fans took to her comments section to congratulate her for using the time to show concern about her ability to actively work towards releasing a visual album to her last record Renaissance. One wrote, ‘Ima just assume the live album is inside the box of shampoo.’
‘Not the visual I was expecting,’ another wrote. Others joked about Beyonce cutting into their budgets. ‘Yonce girl my pockets are tired!! But I’ll figure it out per usual,’ another one added. ‘Me: I’m gonna stick to my budget this time. Beyoncé:’

The launching of CECRED comes after the star teased the line last year. ‘How many of ya’ll knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?’ she wrote in a note on Instagram. ‘Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done.’‘I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.’
‘I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls. I watched her heal and be of service to so many women.’ ‘Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating,’ Beyonce said.
