Miley Cyrus who left out her father in her Grammy acceptance speech had the crowd in boots as she made a shocking remark about ‘forgetting’ her underwear. At the awards show, she rocked a very racy Gucci dress with a daring leg slit that climbed to her waist.
Merely days after the awards show, the two-time Grammy winner took to X formerly Twitter to insist it was only a joke. On X (formerly Twitter) she writes: ‘PS I was only kidding…. I had on matching custom @gucci panties [HEART-EMOJI]’

Miley Cyrus further thanked Gucci’s creative director Sabato De Sarno for the ‘head-to-toe chocolate custom couture.’ Apparently, the ensemble earned her a ton of attention online. The post showed photos from the show that showed Meryl handing Miley her Record Of The Year trophy as well as Miley hugging her team, who joined her on stage.
A third photo in her post showed her accepting the award with co-writer Michael Pollack and producers Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson at her back. She says the images explain her relationship with the m’perfectly.’ ‘You 3 wanting me to do all the talking until I start talking….’ she teased.
Apart from the underwear joke, the star made headlines for leaving out her father Billy Ray Cyrus, who she left out of her Record Of The Year acceptance speech for her Record Of Year and Best Pop Solo Performance award for Flowers.
