The last time Timothee Chalamet made an appearance at the Met Gala was in 2021. Then he served as a co-chair and was seen walking the steps in an all-white ensemble by Haider Ackermann after the theme “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.”
Since then he has continuously skipped the Oscar of fashion event including this year where he was expected to make a red carpet debut with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. Arriving together at the show would have clarified the real status of their relationship.
Recall that the couple were last seen together in February just before his Dune: Part Two press tours and world premieres. Afterwards, Timothee Chalamet went back to work in New York for the filming of his new biopic project, A Complete Unknown.
Since then, he has been captured by several photographers and onlookers on the set of A Complete Unknown Set in Manhattan dressed alike Bob Dylan. Other images showed him alongside his co-star Elle Fanning, who was cast as his love interest Sylvie Russo.

In December, People reported that “He is very supportive of her career and she of his. They both try to attend important events for each other.” The latest development comes amid rumours that the couple who started dating in January 2023 have broken up.
Another speculation is that the couple decided to keep their relationship private due to the excessive media attention the mother of two has. Per a Dailmail source, ‘Timothee didn’t like all the attention he got with Kylie during the Golden Globes and their kiss took away from the reason he was there.’
