Jennifer Lawrence is popularly known for her elevating cool style trend but this time around, she added a movie merchandise staple to it. And she is not the first celebrity to be seen in the shirt as Zendaya and co-star, Josh O’Connor had been seen wearing the shirt.
Both were spotted rocking tee shirts embellished with black block text that reads “I TOLD YA,” printed over grey cotton for their press tour and the Hunger Games actress paired the challenger’s movie merchandise tee shirt with her cool black pleated pants for an outing.
Per Harper’s Bazar, the shirt is sold for $330 and was designed by Jonathan Anderson, a designer from the fashion brand Loewe. The designer curated the costumes for now streaming movie The Challengers. Jennifer Lawrence paired the shirt with cool wide-leg black trousers.
She further highlighted the movie merchandise with plain black sandals. Other versions of the I Told Ya! tee shirt are available on the Loewe website. For her accessories, she added a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses, stud earrings and a black Dior bag.
Rocking the gym tee shirt is a clear indication that Jennifer Lawrence is up to date with her fashion despite not being on social media. The star believes that she does not need to be active in them to promote her work. She is used to appearing in big movie roles that generate plenty of marketing attention on their own.
In a 2023 interview, she explained why she is not a fan of the buzzing media platforms. It appeared that she found the platform overwhelming and so did not want to put herself out there for no reason. “I don’t want to put myself out there for no reason. Unless I’m promoting something or something really burns my onions, you won’t hear from me.”

Another old 2014 interview with BBC Radio 1, saw Jennifer Lawrence saying that Twitter is not for her. “I will never get Twitter. I’m not very good at the phone or technology. I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me. If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it’s me, it most certainly is not…”
“I had that one locked and loaded… Because the Internet has scorned me so much. And I feel like I’m that girl in high school like, ‘You wanna talk about her? I’ll take my hoops off, I’m ready to go,’” she said.
