Prince William Finally Speaks On King Charles's Cancer Diagnosis And Princess Kate's Health Status
King Charles’s cancer diagnosis means that Prince Williams will take up several more responsibilities following the monarch’s absence. More so now, his wife, Princess Kate is also undergoing a medical condition. The Prince is making sure to keep his loved ones in his thoughts.
At the London Air Ambulance Charity Gala dinner, the Prince of Wales finally breaks the silence about the medical concerns of his loved ones. The charity organization has a special connection to him. The Prince had worked as a pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance service from March 2015 to July 2017.
In a speech at the event, Prince William paid tribute to the king, following his absence due to a cancer diagnosis that was announced earlier this week. He further paid another tribute to his wife, who is recovering from abdominal surgery.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you, also, for the kind messages of support for Catherine and my father, especially in recent days. It means a great deal to us all,” William began. Then jokingly added, “It’s fair to say the past few weeks have had a rather ‘medical’ focus. So I thought I’d come to an air ambulance function to get away from it all!

The dinner comes days after King Charles was diagnosed with cancer during an operation he underwent to treat a benign enlarged prostate. The condition is not prostate cancer, although Buckingham Palace has thus far refrained from specifying the monarch’s diagnosis.
On her part, the wife of Prince William, Kate has returned home to Windsor, following a scheduled abdominal surgery on January 16. “The Princess is in good spirits,” a royal source told told TBN when she was discharged from the hospital. She will return to Royal duties at the end of March.
