It is safe to say Nigerians including celebrities find Twitter critic Daniel Regha a menace when it comes to giving his personal take on societal issues including but not limited to celebrities. This time around, the object of his criticism is Grammy award-winning singer Burna Boy.
Recall that the critic has previously knocked back Burna Boy’s pride by alleging that the award-winning singer is still an upcoming artist despite his many awards and records broken. Now he has something to say to Burna Boy who claimed he doesn’t use songwriters.

Burna Boy has openly shared in an interview that all his music was composed by him meaning he has never had to use songwriters while composing music. Apparently, while making music, producers insist on being credited as writers for making the beats, a statement that did not sit well with Twitter critic, Daniel Regha.
In Burna Boy’s words, “Any name you see credited on my songs are only producers of the songs or featured artists not writers. But for some reason, the Western world considers producers as writers of the instrumentals and they just throw their names on there as writers. Nobody fit write for Odogwu.”

Unfortunately, there was a caught as Twitter critic Daniel Regha took to X formerly Twitter to to link to a 2020 tweet from Burna Boy stating how another singer Peruzzi wrote a song for him. It did not end there, the critic bluntly termed the singer a liar noting that songwriting credit only goes to people who co-wrote or participated to the writing process.
The tweet read, “Burna, this was u in 2020 giving credit to Peruzzi as a songwriter, but suddenly nobody writes for u? For the record, no one gets songwriting credit unless they co-wrote or contributed to writing the song, so you’re statement isn’t valid”.
