Reese Witherspoon drops a shocker on fans as she reveals on an interview with Vanity Fair that Reese is not her first name. Joining her in the interview is her former co-star Nicole Kidman. The duo had remained friends after working together on the set of Big Little Lies.

In the Vanity far Interview, Reese Witherspoon made a shocking statement after she was asked about calling another actor Dern instead of Laura which is her first name. Nicole Kidman expressed her disgust at the situation noting that she“ hates how you call her Dern. It sounds weird.”

My real name is Laura Jeanne.” Recalling the name, Kidman agrees immediately saying, “That’s right! So you call her Dern.”
This implication shows that Reese Witherspoon opted for another name when she made her acting debut. The latest report comes amid news that she is currently developing a television series inspired by the 23-year-old movie Legally Blonde.
Per the Deadline report, she is working on the spin-off TV series with the help of her Hello Sunshine production company. Her former Gossip Girl showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage are both writing and executive producing one of the offshoots of the spin-off.
