TBN previously reported that Brad Pitt has dropped his pursuit seeking shared custody of him and Angelina Jolie’s children amid their winery Chateau Miracle court case. The estranged couple have been embroiled in a long divorce battle since their split in 2016 currently in talks to reach an agreement over their divorce proceedings.
The court case is slated to end in the summer but with the latest issues over the winery and custody, it may not happen. Originally the 60-year-old actor wanted a 50/50 arrangement relating to their six kids but is is no longer contesting the matter according to a previous report.
In a recent proceeding, it appeared that the actress’s former security aide Tony Webb testified. According to the aide, he overheard her bashing her kids for trying to spend time with their father. He further stated that the actress made threats to sue him and other security aides if they attempted to testify“in a custody proceeding.”
Perhaps this is a result of the non-disclosure agreements he and the others signed when resuming the work. This is not the first time, the issue of NDAs has become an issue. In their Chateau Miravel case, Brad Pitt had also requested that she reveal all the NDAs she has been on. Her legal theme vehemently refused citing that it was abusive and would infringe on the privacy of those concerned.
Tony Webb further noted that Angelina Jolie’s legal team had contacted him to remind him about the NDAs they signed on not getting involved in the proceedings. The two contractors who testified both got fired. Now, the security aide works for Brad Pitt. On the other hand, the actress’s legal team is trying hard to discredit the testimony of the aide.
Entertainment Tonight obtained a document from the one filed by Pitt’s legal team on Thursday, May 9. His legal team insisted that the testimony of the security aide is important. It states that “ Tony Webb was the head of Jolie’s security detail for two decades, and he remained in that role for approximately four years after the couple divorced.”
