Social Media User Floors Actress Tonto Dike Over Comment On Islam
Actress Tonto Dike is yet on another social media scrutiny after she took to her account to share some admiration for Islam. She also added that she wanted to know more about the religion as she has heard them praying every day for four years.
The actress also said that the religion is that of “love, dedication, God’s beauty and love,” as opposed to the violence and indoctrination several non-muslims used to associate the Muslims and expressed a desire to donate to the mosques.
The post by actress Tonto Dike read, ‘I wake up to the best sound every day for the past four years. It is a sound of love and dedication, the sound of God’s beauty and love… If I want to donate to a Mosque what do I give aside money?‘‘God bless every Muslim and more especially every Muslim I hear your prayers… May Allah answer you.’’
Unfortunately, one fan took her admiration for the religionas a sign that she may be willing to convert because of a man. In his words, “This one don dey date one Alhaji.” This means that the mother of one is hinting that her new boyfriend is a Muslim and that she may be converting soon.

Other Nigerians also reacted to the post with much drumming support for Tonto Dike. One comment read, “Islam is peace, a true religion of comfort from the most Beneficent God, Alhamdulillah you found peace in the call to prayer, it is a sign and your curiosity to know more about it is your mission. Try to know more about it. I will be willing to shed some light with my little knowledge. May peace be on to you.”
Another read, “Because of you I’m beginning to think these beliefs about zodiac signs are true, this is my exact thoughts about Muslims and to think we were born the same day.” Others were suggestions on how she could donate to the Muslims.
