Meghan Markle is back to her podcast era. Per Deadline report, the Duchess of Sussex has inked a deal with Lemonada Media. The new deal enables her to launch a new podcast series and distribute former Spotify podcast Archetypes.
The details of the Duchess’s new deal is yet to be announced but Sussex.com has confirmed the deal. “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting,” she said in a statement.

“Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024. Our plan to rerelease Archetypes, so that more people can now have access to it, as well as launching a dynamic new podcast are well in the works, “ Megan Markle added.
I’m so eager to be able to share it soon, and am overjoyed to be joining the Lemonada family,” she concluded. The Lemonade host deal comes after the duchess and her husband, Prince Harry exited their $20 million partnership deal with Spotify.
The Spotify deal allowed Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry to produce their podcast Archetypes through their production company, Archewell Audio. The podcast was about the different labels and stereotypes experienced by women.
Season 1 hosted several celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Issa Rae, Serena Williams etc and racked up over 10 million downloads and about one million listens per episode. It also earned Meghan the People’s Choice Award for the Pop Podcast of 2022 and the Gracie Award for Top Entertainment Podcast Host.

Talking about the new Meghan Markle deal, Lemonada CEO says in a statement, “We are beyond honoured that Meghan has trusted us to help democratize access to Archetypes and that so many more people around the world will have access to the series soon.”
