Should I Tell Her Husband? My Married Colleague Is Dragging A Client With Me

Dear gist with TBN, I am caught between a dilemma but I don’t want to lose. I am and my married colleague had an unspoken bet on who will get the attention of our handsome and rich newest client who is also generous, I feel like I am going to lose to her.

This is what happened. At work, a handsome man wanted to patronize us and i attended to him, but unfortunately, his documents was not complete and so I sent him to get the rest of them and come back the next day. While leaving, he took my number and gave me a bundle of cash.

Then , my married colleague was not around when he walked in but when she came back, I gisted her about the man describing how handsome and generous he is. I may have also slipped how much he is bringing into the firm thinking that it was just a normal gist.

Early morning, the next day, our boss called me to his office asking me to hand over details of the transaction to her but I told him he was my client and that iam not handing it over because the bonus attached to closing him is massive and besides who wouldn’t want to spend time with such a man.

I didn’t mention I was single and seriously looking for a partner while my married college has two kids already. At last, our boss asked us to handle the account together and ensure the man gives us as much money as possible for the firm. She then revamped her work clothes as we waited for the client to come again.

By revamped, she started rocking skimpy dresses and skirts which iam sure her husband will have issues with but because he wouldn’t want to upset her kept quiet. This continued until the man called a week later apologizing for the long wait and asked me to come over.

On getting there with my married colleague, the man’s attention switched to her and they started flirting and even exchanged number. She also removed her ring and days after they are going to lunches together. He didn’t know she is married and I am pissed.

I am single and here she is married and taking my potential boyfriend. Should I tell her husband what his wife is up to. Does that make me a bad person?
