Latest Hollywood sensation Anya Taylor-Joy skipped the Met Gala but was seen promoting her new movie Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga in Mexico. The movie opens in theatres later this month. In the Mexico sighting, she rocked an interesting short gown and shared the image on her Instagram
“Mi primera vez visitando Mexico…¡gracias por el cariño!” (which translates to “My first time visiting Mexico…thanks for the love!”), she wrote in her Instagram caption. Another interesting style is the white flower-inspired bridal gown while posing for variety.

A style trend she continued to the red carpet at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival for a photocall of her movie Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Instead of gowns, she opted for a skirt suit outfit maxed up of a cropped boxy jacket and pencil skirt. The jacket also features some frilly fringes at the high collar, sleeves, and hem, giving it a fun street-style spin.
The skirt, too, also had some fringe. On her head, she sported a hat made from the same material as her outfit but embellished with beads fringes to accentuate the look. On her face is a full glam made up of smoky eye makeup and almost red lips. Then complete the outfit with a pair of strappy white sandals.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga premiered at the Cannes Film Festival as the fifth film in the Mad Max series. The movie is a prequel, starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth and tells the origin story of Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron in 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road.
Apart from the new movie, the actress is famous for her roles in Known for in Queen’s Gambit (2020), The Witch (2015), The Menu, Split, Last Night in Soho etc.
