Cardi B Finally Shares The Fate Of Her Marriage In New Rolling Stone Interviews
Cardi B reveals the fate of her marriage with husband Offset after months of separation in a new Rolling Stone Interview. Recall that in December 2023, she declared herself a single woman in an Instagram post stating that she and Offset are no longer together.
Before then, social media was abuzz with rumours of them breaking u. Despite the breakup, they spent Christmas together and have been seen together multiple times. The last time was at the Met Gala after party whilst holding hands but was also seen on a date on Valentine’s Day. The rapper also confirmed previously that amid their estrangement, they have been having sex.
The reason for separation is not unconnected with infidelity as that has been a subject of an off relationship. Now, Cardi B has revealed the fate of her relationship with the rapper in a new Rolling Stone published by the outlet. In the Thursday publication, she shared that they are working on themselves and other factors before deciding whether to get their relationship on track.

“We have our bad stuff,” she said then continued, “We’re from two different worlds. Sometimes I cannot be … not that I cannot be a wife. It’s just like, my career takes my life.”It also appeared that the new Rolling Stone interview covers not just details about her relationship but also about her career and how she balances them. On that, she noted that “career comes first” and her “kids come second.” this implies that her relationship is taking up much space.
“Sometimes I don’t realize that I’m putting so many things before my relationship,” she added that her marriage falls in “last” place. “I don’t want to grow,” she said. “I remember last year when we was going through our hard time. And it’s like, ‘Put your album out. You’re overstressing. When was the last time we went on a vacation?’ And it’s like, ‘I don’t got time to go on a vacation, because this comes first.’”
On the subject of her marriage in the New Rolling Stone interview, Cardi B shared that love was not their problem as they are still definitely into each other. “I think it through. We think it through, because we do love each other. It’s not even about love. We’re best friends.” “And it’s like, ‘OK. Well, there was a time that I didn’t have a best friend, or I didn’t have a support system.’ It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend?”
The interview comes after months of fuelling reconciliation rumours after ending their marriage in 2023. In the post shared by Cardi B on Instagram, she stated that she was getting rid of “dead weight” in the coming year.
“…and when it comes to dead weight … I’ll say mentality, procrastination, laziness and people. A lot of people are deadweight, too. Next year is gonna be all about me,” she said.
