Leave it to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck to be the most mature in their relationship after finalizing their divorce. Lately, it has been speculated that she is ‘in talks to play female lead’ in a new film directed by her ex-husband! amid his new wife Jennifer Lopez’s recent interview about their marriage.
The exes teaming up for a film project is something most divorced couples in Hollywood can’t relate to. The Netflix film titled Animals is directed by Ben Affleck, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It centres on a mayoral candidate and his wife, whose son is kidnapped.
The Netflix movie which also stars Matt Damon shows Jenniffer Garner and her husband playing dirty as they try to save their child. The movie will be directed under Ben’s and Matt’s Artists Equity banner. Animals are slated to begin production in March if the talks go as planned.
Apart from this new movie, the former couple two have starred in several films together, including 2001’s Pearl Harbor, 2003’s Daredevil and the 2005 spinoff, Electra. The Emmy nominee reprised the Electra character for the upcoming Deadpool and Wolverine with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Her movies on Netflix include The Adam Project with Ryan Reynolds and a family-friendly Yes Day and most recently Family Switch.
