Nigerians React As Singer Paul Okoye's Ex-wife Posts Him On Father’s Day Amid Remarriage To Younger Wife, Ifeoma
Singer Paul Okoye and his ex-wife, Anita Okoye have proven to many Nigerians that the end of a marriage or relationship is also so supposed to be amicable with parents getting along rather than the tussle for power being seen everywhere.
For instance, DJ Dotun took to Instagram on Father’s Day to call out his ex-wife and Dbanj’s sister for withholding him from seeing his children. Likewise, TBN believes that singer Davido has also not seen his daughter Imade after falling out with his first baby mama, Sophie Momodu.
But that is not the case with Paul Okoye and his ex-wife Anita Okoye whom he split amicably in August 2021. Then Anita filed a lawsuit to end their seven-year-old marriage citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for seeking to end their marriage and demanded a huge amount of money for settlement.

On the 20th of December, an Abuja High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama, finalised the couple’s divorce proceedings. Following the outrageous sum she mentioned, social media users had thought that trouble was looming but all these disappeared as soon as the marriage ended.
Instead, Paul Okoye and his ex-wife, Anita Okoye have been co-parenting peacefully and even publicly support each other on every milestone. On Father’s Day, she took to her story to share a clip of him and their first son performing press-ups captioning it, “Happy Father’s Day.” The singer also reposted it to his Instagram story.
In reaction to the love between the former couple, a fan wrote, If I’m still goin to be posting my ex-husband after a divorce, then I don’t want that divorce! Another fan wrote The Best Award-winning Divorce.” Yet a third wrote, “He can be a good father but not a good husband, l love the fact she still gives him his flowers. He could still be a good husband to another.”
