The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not doubling down their decision to abhor everything Royal. The couple’s latest action is to break a 64-year-old royal naming tradition. Do you think that they have gone too far?
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle while revamping their website which was previously down after they stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family announced that their children’s surname will now be Sussex as against the Royal family’s name.

Traditionally after King Charles ascended the throne, his grandchildren from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was to become Mountbatten-Windsor but unfortunately, Archie and Lilibet will not be answering the name courtesy of their parents.
However, their names as written in the website showed that they have been granted the title of prince and princess since they are now in the direct line of royal succession following King Charles ascendancy into the throne.
The new website of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was designed to show the several present and past projects of the couple rather than the initial speculation that they are being forgiven and coming back as part of the senior members of the Royal family.
Prince Harry, Meghan and their two children are currently living in the United States since June 2020 after they stepped down from royal duties. Their daughter Lilibet was born there in 2021 and they no longer have an official UK residence after being evicted from Frogmore Cottage.
