If there’s one star consistent in dressing after her character in a movie, It’s Margot Robbie. and she did just that at the 77th EE British Academy Film Awards. This is not the first nor will it be the last time the star will dress in a nod to Barbie.
The actor wowed at the BAFTA Awards red carpet which took place in the Royal Festival Hall in London, England. She looked lovely in what we imagine Barbie would wear to a grand opera. The black dress took on the theme of Old Hollywood glamour infused with Barbie pink.

The dress is a custom Giorgio Armani Privé strapless gown featuring sparkling black sequins all over except for a shiny, satin pink silhouette at the centre that starts just under her bust and goes all the way down the length of the dress. Margot Robbie looked quite ethereal in the dress.
The pink centrepiece showed a form-fitting construction along the bodice and hips that highlighted her hourglass figure, a floor-grazing column skirt that covers her shoes, and pronounced cups with a sweetheart neckline. She added long black velvet gloves to the book.
Margot Robbie further accessorized with black statement drop earrings that feature large diamonds within. She had her hair softly curled in a sophisticated updo with tendrils hanging out at the sides to frame her face. As for her make-up, she opted for rosy cheeks, soft peachy-pink eyeshadow, and a nude pink lip.
The BAFTA awards night comes after she attended the BAFTA nominees’ party with her husband Tom Ackerley. It appears that black is the awards theme and she made it happen in a black sequin mini dress by Chanel. The mini dress featured a narrow, sharp V-neckline and white line details along the top hem.
She paired the look with black peep-toe heels, a black quilted, top-handle purse with gold hardware, and, channelling the Matrix, a shiny patent leather midi coat. On his part, Ackerley, looked dapper in a black pinstripe suit jacket over a beige button-down shirt, matching pinstripe dress pants, and shiny dress shoes.
The BAFTA Awards is a big night for Margot Robbie nominated for Leading Actress for her role in Barbie, alongside her co-star Ryan Gosling who is up for Supporting Actor. Barbie also received nominations for Original Screenplay, Production Design, and Costume Design.
Apart from Barbie the star’s movie Saltburn, for which she served as a producer, is up for Outstanding British Film and Original Score, with Barry Keoghan nominated for Leading Actor, Rosamund Pike nominated for Supporting Actress, and Jacob Elordi nominated for Supporting Actor.
