The partnership between Zendaya Coleman and her stylist Law Roach is a match made in heaven. On Thursday, their latest style streak was greeted with uproar as the actor continues her press tour for the new tennis-inspired movie, Challengers.
The duo has continued with their love for method dressing. It simply means dressing in a nod to the theme of an activity or project. In this instance, tennis and the star has donned several tennis-inspired outfits including putting in a modern twist to outfits worn by tennis legends for her activities.
On Thursday afternoon, celebrity stylist Law Roach shared images of Zendaya Coleman in another method of dressing style. The star had replicated a style by tennis legends and sisters, Venus and Serena Williams. The gown is a black and white ball gown worn by the Williams sisters in 1998.
On the images shared to his Instagram, Law Roach wrote, “An ode to the GREATS @venuswilliams @serenawilliams.” The challenger star not only wore the gown, but she also wore her hair made up of shoulder-length white beads like the two sisters.

The famous ball gown dress consists of vertical strips of black and white, stark contrasting colours that perfectly sculpted the piece’s waist-snatching bodice and voluminous skirt. Joining her at the event is Serena Williams who she also gave a shout-out to on the red carpet.
Talking to Entertainment Tonight, Zendaya Coleman said, “I heard that she came and I was like, ‘No way! This is the coolest thing,’ ” she said. “I know Serena’s seen the movie, but I’m very nervous about [Venus] seeing my tennis. Like, ooh, girl … I apologize in advance.”
