Madonna Falls From Chair During Celebration Tour Performance In Seatle
Performance mishap is part of every tour. From the rain during Beyonce’s concert to Taylor Swift’s Japan trip, Madonna has officially been added as one of the stars who fell during her Celebration Tour performance in Seatle.
In a series of videos circulating on social media, the star, 65, fell backwards during the performance of her 1986 hit “Open Your Heart.” Apparently, one of her dancers seemingly tripped while sliding the pop superstar across the stage at Climate Pledge Arena.
Madonna was seen swiftly rolling over to her stomach while continuing to sing the song as she laughed off the mishap. She then stood up to finish the number. As usual, fans were quick to react to the news on social media “@Madonna took a little fall on stage tonight in Seattle. She was a good sport about it. It was a great show,” one person wrote on X.
Another added via Instagram, “Queen behaviour. Nothing can keep Madonna down!” Interestingly, this is not her first time of suffering a mishap while performing. At the 2015 BRIT Awards, she fell a set of stairs while performing her single “Living for Love” due to an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction involving a long, flowing cape.
Talking about the incident, she told Vanity Fair, “Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight!” she said afterwards, “But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I’m fine!”The star is in the midst of her Celebration tour.

The next stop is scheduled for Thursday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The tour borders on the entirety of the star’s four-decade career, highlighting every album and era. Madonna’s tour follows after her recovery because of a severe bacterial infection.
She spent days in the ICU and was asked to rest after leaving the hospital. Talking to USA Today, she said, “It’s a miracle that I’m alive.” “I feel like I’m one of the lucky ones. … Let’s take a moment to be grateful.” The Celebration Tour concludes on April 26 in Mexico City.
