Camila Cabello Recalls Fun Year She Lost Her Virginity To Matthew Hussey

Most people regret their first time having sex but not Camilla Cabello as she recalls the fond memory of her first time in the latest episode of the Armchair Expert podcast. According to her, she lost her virginity at 20 to ex-boyfriend Matthew Hussey in 2018.

The couple first sparked romance rumours in 2018 after a meet-cute on the set of “Today.” Apparently, she introduced herself to him while standing outside. “I was outside where they had the TV with the scripts. I had actually listened to his podcast before,” she told the hosts.

The podcast in question is the Love Life podcast owned and produced by Matthew Hussey. The podcast as the name sounds is dedicated to discussing relationship issues and the 20-year-old Camila Cabello was enthralled with meeting the talk show host.

On the “Armchair Expert” podcast, Cabello added that she went to him and told him how much of a fan she is. “So we went to dinner that night and that was my first relationship. It was too late for my first relationship. I was 20,” she began again.

Elsewhere in the podcast, the host Dax Shepard asked her about her sex life before meeting Matthew Hussey. In her answer, she noted that he was her first. Then referring to her first time having sex she said “No! That was my first time having sex. My first love-making was at 20, 21. … It was literally love-making. It was beautiful.”

Then continued gushing about the life coach who is now married to Audrey Le Strat, “He was a really great person. It was like the perfect first relationship. It really expanded my world because he wasn’t in my industry too.” In her words dating Mathew Hussey was one of her greatest relationships.

Then noted that his choice of career as a relationship coach was part of what “made him a great partner.” Camila further remarked that the year she dated him was the best in her life and then speaking about her future, she expressed that she wants something similar this year.

Matthew Hussey and Camila Cabello broke up in June 2019 and have since moved on. The life coach tied the knot with his wife in 2023 while the singer has gone on to date several celebrities including Shawn Mendes.
