Worse! The singer filed on their second anniversary as a couple. Per TMZ, she was at the courthouse on Tuesday, August 20 with the date of separation listed as April 26,2024. This simply means that the couple had been keeping up appearances for months after separation.
By keeping up appearances, it means that prior to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck divorce, the two have been spotted several times together. Both also wore their rings numerous time hinting that it was just a marital crisis that would be resolved eventually.
Unfortunately, the rumours went up to divorce as Ben Affleck did not pay tribute to his soon-to-be ex-wife on her 55th birthday. He also moved out of their home while she was away on a solo vacation in Italy. Upon her return from the Hamptons, she never attempted to contact him.
