Prince Harry Contemplates Becoming An American Amid Pressures From King Charles III To Reconcile With Prince Williams
TBN previously reported that Prince Harry was browsing for a UK home to reunite with friends and acquaintances who do not get along with his wife, Meghan Markle. Now reports from media outlets, the mirror claims that the monarch supports his decision so he can see his grandchildren.
Prior to this news, the estranged prince shared details on whether he wanted to be an American citizen in his recent Good Morning America appearance. He noted that he does not know how he feels about that but that it has crossed his mind a few times. However, becoming an American citizen is not his priority right now.
Royal expert Tom Quinn is saying that despite his decision, one thing remains clear. Which is that King Charles III wants him to reconcile with his brother and future heir, Prince William. The monarch believes that reconciliation will handle the problem posed by his wife Meghan Markle.
Another pressure being faced by Prince Harry is that his father wants him to find an apartment in the UK so he can get to know and spend time with his grandchildren Archie and Lillibet. This may be a priority because the monarch is ill and may be reportedly facing his last days.
Per The Mirror, “King Charles has been putting pressure on Harry to do just this as he is angry that his only relationship with his grandchildren so far is via video calls, which Charles hates. William and Kate’s children would spend the weekend at Highgrove and Harry’s children could then easily pop over from their house nearby.”
“This would neatly get around the problem of Meghan – she just wouldn’t need to be there and the children could be whisked back to the States after a week or two,” Tom Quinn finished. Recall that ever since Prince Harry and Meghan moved to the States, the Duchess of Sussex has never stepped foot in the UK again.
She did not even attend the coronation and did not join her husband at any royal function. Perhaps the royal family traditions are beyond her.
