The Boo Saga Continues As Nikki Glaser Reveals Swifties Are Not Responsible For Stage Shaming Kim Kardashian At The Tom Brady Roast
Recall that Kim Kardashian was booed at the Tom Brady Netflix roast, an act thought to be sponsored by Swifties. Now Nikki Glaser is exonerating the fan club of Taylor Swift stating that the booing has nothing to do with them at all. Do well to remember that the booing did not faze the skim founder.
Kim Kardashian and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan wouldn’t be where they are if they didn’t learn how to develop thick skin to criticisms and online lashing by fans who think they don’t deserve the influence and money because of one reason or the other.
After the roast, theories came out that the booing was caused by Swifties who thinks the mother of four had a feud with their star, Taylor Swift. The singer even featured a diss song Thank You Aimee for Kim Kardashian in her latest The Tortured Poets Department album which had her fans bashing the reality TV star. Nikki Glaser, host of a podcast has now shared what happened.
Although Netflix edited out the booing, it still did not sit well with others who felt the star did not deserve such callousness. In the latest episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, she noted that it was started by a drunk comedian who had a bad reputation for instigating shitty behaviour. It was the drunk comedian who started booing at the skim’s founder.
Nikki Glaser said, “he started the boo as just, like, a joke. He just had too many drinks or something, and he’s not affiliated with Swifties or anything [and] just felt like saying a boo into the air, and everyone was so riled up” She further noted that the type of audience at the show Mays have contributed to the incident.
In her words, “It just kinda caught wind, but it wasn’t Swiftie-meditated. I do have good information that it was not based on that. Because I was like, this doesn’t feel like a huge Swiftie crowd, but it didn’t feel like that was the vibe in the room.” The host also praised the Kardashians for their consistency in the world of reality TV over claims that the family is not talented.
“I don’t want to hear that anymore that they’re not talented. They are! They’ve achieved something consistently for 20 years now. They’re talented! It just doesn’t look like the talent you define,” Nikki Glaser praised the family.
