Anne Hathaway Finds Kissing Multiple Actors Gross During Chemistry Tests In New V Magazine Interview: See Details

While Anne Hathaway’s fans are budding in excitement for her new project, she sat down with V Magazine to share details of the movie and her career in General. The latest movie, The Idea Of You is set for release on Amazon Prime Video on May 2nd.

The idea of You follows the plot of a 40-year-old art gallery owner named Solène with three kids. At Coachella, she met and fell in love with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell who is lead singer of August Moon, band and played by the very sexy Nicholas Galitzine.

In the V magazine interview, she recalled how grossed out she was in her early career days when she had to kiss several male actors to test their chemistry. Perhaps it also happened in her latest movie The Idea of You which she starred with Hollywood’s latest sexy man, Nicholas Galitzine.

‘Back in the 2000s — and this did happen to me — it was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with other actors to test for chemistry,’ she explained before adding that was ‘the worst way to do it.’ ‘I was told, “We have 10 guys coming today and you’re cast. Aren’t you excited to make out with all of them?, she added.

Then continued, ‘And I thought, “Is there something wrong with me?” because I wasn’t excited,’ she said. ‘I thought it sounded gross,’ she finished. She further shared in the V Magazine interview published on Monday, how happy she is that doesn’t have to do anymore. This means that the latest project was not cast in that way.

Talking about the experience, she noted that despite how weirded out she was about the arrangement, she had to go through with it to avoid being termed difficult which would have perhaps caused her not to be booked for roles. In her words, ‘It wasn’t a power play,’ she said. ‘No one was trying to be awful or hurt me. It was just a very difficult time and now we know better.’

Moving on in the V Magazine interview, she talked about the casting for the Idea Of You which she also produced. She disclosed that after reading a few lines with Nicholas, she cast him knowing deep down that he was the right lead to bring the book adaptation movie to life.

‘I remember laughing when Nick walked in because he was so ridiculously perfect for the part,’ she recalled. ‘I just thought, “He is it.”‘ The new movie premieres on May 2nd.
