Kevin Hart, comedian and actor reputed to be short and small in contrast to his friend and colleague, Dwayne Johnson is known to always crack jokes about his small stature. After several speculations of how tall, he is now putting all rumours to rest in a new interview.
In his latest appearance on the 60 Minutes by Anderson Cooper, he revealed his real height. The actor had answered 5.5 but that’s if he wears a boot. Anderson Cooper is not the only media outlet speculating how tall the Jumanji actor is but instead of speculating like others, he asked him.
Media houses such as GQ and LA Times speculated endlessly about his height. The former said 5’5 and the latter 5’4. Per his answer, the actor is 5.5. In his words, “Well that place is bulls**t. GQ finally got it right.” Then he added, “[I’m] 5-foot-5, like with a shoe on, like a sneaker. Now, if I put a boot on, I can get to 5’5 and a half.”
As stated above, Kevin Hart usually makes jokes about his height and even in some sightings likes to put himself against a gigantic The Rock. Elsewhere in the interview, he told the host that he is not self-conscious about his height and so can talk about. “It’s talking about the things that you aren’t afraid to laugh at about yourself,” he explained.
Then continued, “I’m confident that the laugh that I’m getting, you’re not laughing necessarily at me as if I’m a joke, you’re laughing at the experience. I’m giving you an experience through the story that is relatable. More importantly, I’m saying things that other people just don’t have the heart to say.”
The star further refused to comment on how much he is worth noting that he doesn’t want to get robbed. Kevin Hart is currently married to Eniko Hart, whom he tied the knot with 2014 after divorcing his ex wife Torrey Hart in 2010.
