Myra Carvalho Jailed For Stalking Harry Styles: She Sent Over 8000 Letters
TBN is sure that this is not the first time Harry Styles has been stalked but this incident surely takes one off it. Perhaps the severity forced the singer to take action against his nemesis.
It appeared that the stalker Myra Carvalho sent over 8000 letters in a month. She even went as far as resigning from her job, leaving her partner and family to move closer to him and making attempts to get closer to him.
Apparently, she achieved this at some point which made Harry Styles file a complaint stating that his privacy was violated and that he felt unsafe with her snooping. In February 2024, she was arrested for attempting to approach the singer in central London.
Following a Harrow Crown Court proceedings at Hendon Magistrates’ Court, she was arraigned on one count of harassment to the extent of causing serious alarm or distress which she pleaded guilty.
The court ruled 14 weeks’ imprisonment alongside a restraining order lasting for 10 years. She is also not allowed to be near anywhere Harry Styles is performing. She was also mandated to pay a fine of 166 dollars for the damage caused.
The singer is currently in a romantic relationship with model, Taylor Russell. They first sparked romance rumours last year in October 2023 after he supported her on the opening night of her play, The Effect. Most recently, they were pictured out and about in New York leaving a chic Brooklyn townhouse together.
Before Taylor Russell, Harry Styles dated actress Olivia Wilde. He even dedicated a song to her as speculated by fans.
