Per a previous post on Zendaya, TBN shares that we are waiting for the next styles of gowns the actor will wear following the release of Dune: Part Two. We didn’t even have to wait so long for that.
At the premiere of her new movie Challengers, we see the star and her stylist Law Roach’s masterfulmethod of dressing technique in action. Today, she got into character via her wardrobe once again for the Australian premiere of Challengers, in which she stars as a tennis champion opposite Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist.
For the red carpet, Zendaya rocked a glittery green gown custom-made by Loewe and styled by Roach. The unique dress featured a deep V-neckline, a low back, razor-thin spaghetti straps, and a thigh-high leg slit. The most notable detail, however, was emblazoned on the front of the gown: a black imprint of a shadowy figure holding a racket, poised to strike a tennis ball.
The actor completed her look with matching sparkly green pointed-toe pumps and a pair of drop earrings. The green dress is the first major look to come out of her Challengers press tour. (The movie comes out in the U.S. on April 26.) The premiere comes after she rounded up her Dune: Part Two press tour with her co-star, Timothee Chalamet.
Amid the press your, she went on a date with her boyfriend, Tom Holland while rocking a tennis style earlier this month at the women’s final match at the BNP Paribas Open in Greece. At the time, the Euphoria star wore a monochromatic white outfit composed of a Louis Vuitton zip-up jacket, a white T-shirt, a Louis Vuitton pleated miniskirt, and On Running sneakers.
Zendaya and Roach are known for their innovative approach to curating a press tour wardrobe. For the recently wrapped Dune tour, the actor embraced the film’s sci-fi roots by dressing up in a series of futuristic ensembles e.g. robot inspired armour.
