Zendaya has been on a style streak at the Red Carpets of movie premieres of Dune: Part Two. At the New York City premiere on Sunday, the star went without underwear in a racy white outfit with gold embellishments.
The star commanded attention in a stunning white gown featuring a unique cut-out that gave a peek at her navel. The gown also features gold embellishments around the hemline. For her makeup, she opted for minimal makeup while letting her hair flow cascade over her shoulders.

Zendaya was also joined by a cavalcade of stars like Florence Pugh, Sofia Carson, Austin Butler, Ana Taylor Joy and more.  On her path, Florence rocked a silver goddess dress to the event. She starred as Princess Irulan, the daughter of the Emperor.Â
Her main co-star, Timothee Chalamet sported an all-leather ensemble and he will reprise his role as Paul Atreides, the heir to the now-decimated House Atreides. Abandoned with his mother in the desert world of Arakis, Paul faces the rise of House Harkonnen, the perpetrators of his family’s slaughter, who are now seizing control of the planet’s valuable natural resources.
In the first film, Zendaya made a brief appearance as Chani, a member of the desert-dwelling Fremen tribe. Her character plays a crucial role in teaching Paul how to survive the harsh environment of Arakis. Together, they work towards leading her people in a rebellion against the galactic forces that seek to colonize their planet.
Another co-star Austin Butler arrived wearing a white tuxedo jacket, a long black tie and black pants. Dune: Part Two was originally meant to be released on October 20, 2023, before being pushed back to November 17, and later to March 15, 2024, due to the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike.Â
After multiple delays, the film starring Zendaya and Timothee is now set to hit theatres on March 1, 2024. The two movies are adapted from Frank Herbert’s novel of the same name, which was originally published in 1965. The official logline for : Part 2 reads: ‘Paul faces a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavours to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.’
One of the first attempts to adapt the novel into a film was led by director Alejandro Jodorowsky, and although the project was ultimately cancelled, his efforts were documented in the 2013 feature Jodorowsky’s Dune. David Lynch went on to direct an adaptation of Dune, which was critically panned upon its release in 1984.
The first part made waves and won six out of the ten Academy Awards it was nominated for, including Best Cinematography, Best Original Score and Best Sound. The feature’s sequel was not formally greenlit until after the release of the first film, although it was put into production just a few days after Dune: Part One debuted.
