Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake first met on a movie set for The Mickey Mouse Club at just 11 years old. Afterwards, both kicked off their music careers in the late ’90s with the mother of two as a solo artist and him in the boy band NSYNC.
Although, they didn’t start dating when they met, both child stars noted that they felt an instant connection and even kissed at a cast sleepover party. It seemed like a real fairytale when they started dating in 1999 until the disturbed singer’s 2023 memoir revealed the details of their relationship.

Before the release of the memoir, Justin Timberlake noted that he fell in love with the star when he set his eyes on her, “I was in love with her from the start. I was infatuated with her from the moment I saw her,” he shared. The couple took their relationship public in 2002 at the then-2000 MTV Video Music Awards.
Unfortunately, the relationship did not go further than March 2002 with the former NSYNC member releasing a song, “Justified “about his time with the diva. Perhaps that explained why Britney did not spare him in her damning memoir “the Woman in Me” released in 2023.
In the memoir, Britney Spears spilled details of her past relationship with Justin Timberlake including that he forced her to get an abortion, cheated, and kicked off his solo career through a revenge song about their relationship. This accusation triggered a lot of backlash from social media users which he never reacted to.
Now it appears that the dust has settled with his new Forget Tomorrow World Tour doing incredibly well as the fastest-selling and highest-grossing tour of his career thus far. Per Complex, the tour has amassed more than $140 million globally across over 70 shows. He is speculated to even extend the tour till 2025.
