King Charles is allegedly evicting Prince Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson from their Royal Lodge estate in Windsor. This is the same thing the reigning monarch did when he evicted his son Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan Markle from the Frogmore estate.
However, the monarch is not leaving Prince Andrew homeless, he is going to be offered another estate in Scotland though smaller. According to the Mirror, he will be offered Queen Elizabeth’s Craigowan 7-bedroom cottage on the Balmoral estate.
Amid the rumours about whether the news is true or not, insiders are sharing that King Charles has an uncanny reason for choosing to evict his brother from his royal home. The reason is not unconnected to his and the Princess of Wale’s cancer diagnosis.
The monarch is said to have decided on gifting the Royal Lodge estate to Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward, for the incredible help they have been to him, following his and Princess Kate’s Cancer diagnosis early 2024. Per the daily mail report, the king ” has entertained the thought of offering Royal Lodge to his youngest brother, Prince Edward.”
“The two haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, but the king has been hugely impressed by the manner in which Edward and his wife, Sophie, have increased their workload since their elevation to Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.” “The couple have filled in the many gaps created by the absence of both Kate and himself while they underwent cancer treatment.”
King Charles and the Princess of Wales are still undergoing treatment for cancer and no reports have been made on their health status. However, both have been up and about with Kate Making a third public appearance on Sunday by attending a church service in Scotland.
On the monarch’s part, the operation Menai Bridge is already in preparation should the monarch not survive the terminal illness.
