Kim Kardashian rocked a dress inspired from the Elizabethan oil in her latest photo dump. She shared the behind-the-scenes images from a recent fitting, where she wore a silky ivory corset bodysuit by Thierry Mugler, which featured a sculpted hourglass silhouette.
The strapless piece features a pointy cupped bra that plunged at the centre, while the bodice cinched her at the waist with sharp rods so skintight, they could have doubled as built-in body armour. At the hips, the bodysuit plunged out to the sides, creating a dramatic contrast with the teeny-tiny waist, and transformed into boxy hot shorts.

Kim Kardashian’s bridal piece was a nod to the royal high fashion of the 16th through 18th centuries, though Mugler—a champion of the highbrow naked look—added a modern edge with the daring neckline and pronounced waist-to-hip ratio.
The brand has an affinity for body-shaping silhouettes. The fit feels right at home on the SKIM’s founder, who is in the body-shaping business herself, with her inclusive, much-coveted shapewear brand Skims. She has also loved Mugler for years, famously wearing a drippy, crystal-drenched bronze dress of his to the 2019 Met Gala (with then-husband Kanye West).
Then, Kim Kardashian paired it with a sexy wet-hair look that people everywhere have been attempting to re-create ever since. She also wore a jaw-dropping Mugler design to the fifth annual Hollywood Beauty Awards that year: a skintight, underboob-baring LBD.
