Fans Slams Hailey Bieber for Reigniting Selena Gomez Feud Rumours Over Beyoncé Post

Seems like the Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez feud will always be relevant. A thing for trend with fans dishing their opinions on and off again. It has happened again, as fans now think the model reignited rumours of a feud with Selena Gomez by sharing Beyoncé’s cover of “Jolene.”

The wife of Justin Bieber shared a screenshot of the song on her Instagram Story early Friday with the caption, “whew 😤” after Queen Bey released her new album, Cowboy Carter. Jolene was originally performed by Dolly Parton and tells the story of a woman who flirted with someone else’s husband, so many social media users flocked to X to speculate that Bieber was subtly jabbing Gomez.

Selena Gomez had dated Justin Bieber before he got together and married Hailey Bieber. It is unclear what the model hoped to achieve with the post but fans took it wrongly and resorted to bashing her. “Hailey Bieber’s obsession with Selena Gomez needs to be studied…,” one user wrote.

“This woman is so obsessed,” another agreed. “She is this way just because doesn’t [sic] have confidence in herself The karma for Hailey will bite harder.” “It’s not even just Selena at this point,” a third netizen posted. “She thinks [sic] everybody wants her man.”

Although others bashed her, some supported her saying Hailey Bieber was likely just enjoying one of the most highly anticipated tracks from the headline-making country album. “So Hailey can’t listen to a song?” one fan questioned. “well first, Hailey is reposting a newly released song and if you instantly think Selena feels hit then that’s on you,” another added.

“Thinking everything Hailey does is Selena shade is truly incredible,” one more user observed. This is not the second or last time the feud will be pushed between the “Only Murders in the Building” star, 31, and the model. The feud has spanned years and is not likely to stop.

Hailey Bieber reacted during the speculation last year. “I don’t think that this is about me, Hailey Bieber, and Selena Gomez. This is not about this pitting between two women and division between two women,” she said during an appearance on Bloomberg’s “The Circuit with Emily Chang” in July 2023.
